It’s On Us

Universities across the country are grappling with the issue of sexual assault on their campuses and SDSU is no exception. The safety of our students is our highest priority and we are committed to ensuring that sexual violence stops on our campus and in the broader society. This significant cultural change must be accomplished collectively and we encourage all members of our community to participate in this on-going conversation.

The It's On Us national campaign is meant:

  • To recognize that non-consensual sex is sexual assault.
  • To identify situations in which sexual assault may occur.
  • To intervene in situations where consent has not or cannot be given.
  • To create an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.

This pledge is a personal commitment to help keep women and men safe from sexual assault. It is a promise not to be a bystander to the problem, but to be a part of the solution. Visit the It’s On Us website to take the pledge today.
