CCS’ legal programs provide quality legal services to hundreds of survivors of interpersonal violence. Services include walk-in clinics, by-appointment office consultations, and direct representation.

CCS’ legal programs take a holistic, client-centered approach to assisting survivors. Services are designed to empower clients with information and options to stabilize their lives, allowing them to pursue self-defined goals instead of reacting to crisis.

CCS legal services are free and confidential.

CCS’ walk-in Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) Clinic is located at the El Cajon Courthouse, 250 E. Main St., El Cajon, CA 92020. CCS operates the clinic Tuesdays 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Thursdays & Fridays 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.. No appointment is needed.

For 96 years The Office of Public Attorney, now the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, has steadfastly provided free professional legal services to these families and individuals. The Legal Aid Society can provide legal Help with Housing, Debt Collection, Repossession, Sales Contracts, Housing Discrimination, Family Law, Immigration, Federal Tax Problems, CalWorks/CalFresh/General Relief, Conservatorships, Restraining Orders, and SSI.
